Average House Price In Cork Has Jumped Up By €13,122 In 12 Months

The figure released by GeoDirectory has been compiled from information gathered by An Post delivery staff working with Ordance Survey Ireland...
The survey also found that construction is up 36% in Ireland since June last year with 742 buildings under construction in Cork
The survey claims that one of the reasons for the sharp increase in construction is the low number of vacant properties in the market with 4.45% of properties in Cork described as "vacant" by the study however the majority of construction is focused in Dublin
Homeless charities across Cork have long been highlighting the difficulties they face housing people as the peorperty market is under severe pressure to keep up with demand.
