Bad weather effects growth of vegetables

Bad weather across Europe is leading to vegetable rationing in British supermarkets.

The shortage of household favourites such as lettuce and broccoli has apparently been caused by too much rain.

Here at home, farmers have forced the grocery chain SuperValu to cancel a discount food promotion.

The shop had been offering free veg with half price beef.
