Baltimore RNLI provide assistance to a yacht in difficulty off the coast of the town last night

The volunteer lifeboat crew launched at 11:30pm following a request from the Irish Coast Guard to assist a 38 foot yacht with three people on board.
The yacht was 17 miles off the coast and was towed back to Baltimore Harbour, arriving at 3:30am.
The RNLI are reminding people to call 999 or 112 and ask for the Coast Guard if they get into difficulty at sea or on the coast.
