Bandon Residents stage protest following flooding
A protest by traders and residents of Bandon is set to take place in the town later today.
Friends of Bandon are organising a human chain at 6pm this evening across the towns bridge which was impassible during the floods.
They are calling for action to be taken by the Government as the town was badly hit by flooding over the past few weeks.
A number of business owners in Bandon have threatened not to pay their rates if flood relief measures aren't delivered on time.
