Bank of Ireland apologizes for glitch

Bank of Ireland has issued a profuse apology to tens of thousands of workers who didn't get paid this morning. The error has affected all banks and includes the pay and pensions of Gardai, nurses, teachers, prison officers and thousands of civil servants. Both Bank of Ireland and AIB say customers who incur any late payment fees because of it, will be refunded in full.
