Bere Island Lottery Syndicate Collect Winnings From Lotto HQ

A lottery syndicate from Bere Island off the Cork Coast have picked up their EuroMillions Plus cheque for half-a-million euro at lotto headquarters in Dublin.
The group, who want to remain private, bought their winning Quick Pick ticket at a local Post Office on the island.
The syndicate say they're extremely grateful for all the support they have received and are planning a big celebration for the entire island once the dust settles.
They're hoping the win will allow them to make some positive changes there in the coming months.
