Bishop of Cloyne says story of Bessborough may be difficult, but the truth must come out

The truth of what happened in the Bessborough Mother and Baby Home may be difficult to hear, but it must come out.
That's according to the Bishop of Cloyne William Crean who says the story of what happened in the Cork facility - which was the largest mother and baby home in Ireland - should be told.
Following the discovery of human remains in a mass grave on the grounds of the former Bon Secours mother and baby home in Tuam, there have been calls for similar investigations to take place in other homes across the country.
The Mother and Baby Homes Commission says there is currently no decision to carry out any excavations at Bessborough.
Speaking to RedFM News Bishop of Cloyne William Crean says to move forward, the truth must first be uncovered:
