UPDATE - Blarney Castle re-opens following death of man in his 20's
The body of a man in his 20's who fell from a height at Blarney Castle this morning, has been removed to Cork University Hospital.
Staff at the popular tourist attraction alerted Emergency services just aft 10.30am, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details of how the man fell, and exactly from which part of the castle, have not yet been released, but Gardai say they are not treating the incident as suspicious.
A member of staff at Blarney castle has confirmed that the castle has re-opened for visitors, following the conclusion of the forensic investigation by Gardai
