A blizzard of potentially historic proportions is threatening to strike the Northeast of the United States Up to 2 feet of snow is forecastfor New York and Boston. Meanwhile, Aer Lingus has cancelled all flights in and out of New York and Boston - because of the weather. Passengers are being advised to check with their airline before travelling to the airport.
