Bodies of Cork men expected home by weekend.

It's hoped the remains of two young Cork men who died in crash in Canada earlier this month will be home ahead of the weekend.

Cathal Murphy from Bandon and Raymond McCann from Kanturk both lost their lives in a road accident in Manitoba.

The circumstances of the fatal crash is still under investigation by Canadian police, but it's understood the car they were travelling in overturned on a busy highway.

Over €12,000 has already been raised to repatriate the two men through the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund which helps fund and organise the repatriation of Irish people who have died abroad.

Cathal's older brother James has traveled to Manitoba and he told the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM that the support he and his family have received from locals in Bandon has been overwhelming.
