Body found in Crosshaven

Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found in a house in Crosshaven this afternoon. The services of the State Pathologist's office but stress that it is purely for precautionary reasons at this stage as early indications suggest no foul play. It's understood that there was no sign of forced entry at the house which remains cordoned off by gardai pending an examination of the body at the scene by a pathologist The man -who was in his 30s -lived alone in the house in the seaside village and his body was discovered around 2pm when a friend called to visit him.
