Body Of A Man Found At A House In Mahon

The dead man, who was in his late 50's, was found at a house at Avenue De Rennes
It's understood the man may have been involved in a row at the weekend and gardai have called on the services of the State Pathologist's office to determine if this had any bearing on his death or if his health issues played a factor
The scene has been sealed off as Gardai await the arrival of the Assistant State pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster who will carry out a preliminary examination of the scene before the man's body is removed to allow for a post mortem to be conducted
At this stage Gardai are keeping an open mind in relation to the cause of death as the results of the post mortem will determine the course of their investigation
