Boeing Confirms It's Found Faulty Part In Wing Of Some Of Its 737 Aircraft

The company says the problem affects both its 737MAX aircraft and the previous version of the 737

Boeing has confirmed that its found a faulty part in the wing of some of its 737 aircraft.

The company says the problem affects both its 737MAX aircraft and the previous version of the 737. 

The MAX model is currently grounded after two fatal accidents.

The US Federal Aviation Administration says parts on more than 300 aircraft that provide lift during take off and landing may have been incorrectly manufactured.

Boeing says it has contacted all affected airlines to advise them to replace the part before allowing aircraft return to service.
