Boil Water Notice remains in place for customers on the Whitegate Regional Public Water Supply
Irish Water says up to 6,500 people are affected by the notice
The areas impacted include Whitegate, Aghada, Churchtown, Ballycotton, Cloyne, Saleen and Ballinacurra.
The notice was put in place as a precautionary measure following issues at the Water Treatment Plant, which may have compromised the disinfection process that makes the water safe to drink.
Irish Water says works remain ongoing at this time to resolve these issues
