Book of condolences opens in City Hall for victims of Nice truck attack

It's been confirmed that at least ten children are among the 84 people killed.    

A book of condolences has just opened in City Hall in solidarity with those who lost their lives in last night's terror attack in Nice.

It's been confirmed that at least ten children are among the 84 people killed.    

A lorry zigzagged at speed into crowds who'd been watching a Bastille Day fireworks display.

The driver was later shot dead by police and guns and grenades were found inside the truck.

It's believed he was a 31 year old French-Tunisian - a low level criminal - who wasn't known to intelligence agencies. 

France has declared three days of national mourning.

Nora Callanan, President Alliance Francaise de Cork, has just opened the book of condolences with the Lord Mayor and she told RedFM News that she and her colleagues are devastated:
