Boost for Cork as International Space Studies Program 2017 launched Leeside

The biggest space event to ever take place in Ireland and the U.K is launching in Cork today.
The nine week International Space Studies Program is one of the largest events to ever take place in Cork and it marks the first time the world space industry has convened in Ireland.
Five astronauts will descend on Leeside over the summer as well as 320 international space professionals from 25 different countries.
Speaking to RedFM News host site coordintor for the event Elizabeth Caroll Twomey says they fought off a lot of competition to secure the event:
