Boost for Cork as it's named best small city in Europe for FDI

The rankings by the Financial Times fDi magazine also included the city as one of the top ten small cities in Europe for inward investment.
It's hoped the recent ranking of Cork as the best small city in Europe for its Foreign Direct Investment strategy will show the competitiveness of the city.

It's believed developments like One Albert Quay, the redevelopment of the former Capitol Cinema site and the events centre will also boost the cities profile among potential investors.
