BREAKING: Carphone Warehouse has announced it is to close all of its stores in the Republic.

Around 400 staff are expected to lose their jobs.
The company has 9 location in the city and county including stores at Mahon Point, Blackpool and Wilton Shopping Centres and Patrick Street in the city.
Stores at CastleWest Shopping Centre in Ballincollig, Mallow and Midleton are also impacted by the closure.
In a statement on their website Carphone Warehouse say the closure has been forced by changes in shopping behaviours which have been accelerated by the pandemic.
The group say they will continue to offer services through their counters at Currys PC World stores and on the Currys website.
Carphone Warehouse operate counters at Curry's stores at Mahon Point and Mahon Retail Park.
