Breakthrough Could Be On The Cards In Junior Doctor's Dispute

A breakthrough could be on the way - in the row over Junior Doctor's working hours. The Irish Medical Organisation has accepted proposals put forward following crunch talks at the LRC late last night. It means hospitals could be hit with fines for allowing Junior Doctors to do shifts longer than 24 hours, and the HSE's agreed to eliminate the practise by the end of 2014.
