Brexit Trade Talks Have Been Extended Again
Today was supposed to be a deadline
However, the European Commission President and British Prime Minister have agreed to keep negotiating.
Ursula von der Leyen and Boris Johnson spoke by phone earlier.
There haven't been any details announced on a new time frame.
Ursula von der Leyen says despite deadlines being missed, continuing talks is the "responsible" thing to do:
'I had a constructive and useful phone call with Prime Minister Boris Johnson. We discussed the major unsolved topics. Our negotiation teams have been working day and night over the recent days.'
