British and Irish Governments Call For Respectful Election in Northern Ireland

The Irish and British Governments have called for a "respectful" election campaign in Northern Ireland after the collapse of the power-sharing executive.
Enda Kenny and British Prime Minister Theresa May spoke over the phone last night after the Secretary of State confirmed a snap Election on March 2nd.
They discussed the bitter fall-out between the executive parties and the need for Northern Ireland to be considered in upcoming BREXIT talks.
Ulster Unionist Mike Nesbitt said he was 'embarrassed' that the institutions had fallen after ten years of Devolution.
