Bus Éireann warning customers that certain routes may be under pressure to meet demand

The bus company says passengers must book a seat if they want to travel on their Expressway service.
Capacity has been allowed to increase to 50% under the relaxing of Covid regulations.
Speaking to RedFM News, Tim O'Leary, Service Manager for Bus Éireann Cork, says that booking online is a must for interregional Expressway services:
"Bus Éireann welcome the move from 25% to 50% capacity in public transport, and also the reopening of intercounty travel from today. We are advising customers to travel outside of peak times where possible. Peak demand is before 9am and between the hours of 4pm and 6pm. You have to book online to guarantee your seat, including for holders of free travel passes."
