Busking bylaws won't be introduced in Cork city until next year at the earliest

Traders in the city have even threatened to relocate because of noise levels
Several business owners in the Cook Street area say they're finding it difficult to conduct their business with the noise levels being generated by buskers.
City Council say officials are actively working on busking bylaws which should be ready by the end of the year.
The Council says buskers are welcome in the city, but agrees that constraints need to be placed on amplifiers and the possibility of busking-free zones are also being examined.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM Dylan Brickley who busks in the city says he believes busking adds to the life and vibrancy of the city.
