Buttevant locals demand action on main road

Locals in Buttevant are demanding that the main road is fixed before someone is seriously injured - or worse. The NRA has confirmed that the €3.5 million needed for repair works is not available and can't give a date as to when it will be ready. A group of residents will be meeting with a Cork County Council representative next month to discuss the issue. A number of people have suffered broken bones from falling on the uneven surfaces.
