Call out for Community and Voluntary Groups to participate in the Cork St Patrick’s Day Parade
Presented by Cork City Council, the 2017 Cork St Patrick's Festival will take place from Friday March 17th to Sunday March 19th and is expected to attract 80,000 visitors to Cork.
The festival extravaganza will feature live music, entertainment, and the much-loved Cork St Patrick’s Day Parade which is attended annually by 50,000 spectators.
The Cork St Patrick’s Day Parade will take place at 1pm on Friday March 17 and the theme of the festival is Cork- A City of Community, Culture and Commerce. Festival organizers are urging community groups to think creatively and to interact with the theme. Applications for the Cork St Patrick’s Day Parade are available on www.corkstpatricksfestival.ie and the closing date for receipt of application forms is Monday February 20th, 2017.
