Calls for a permanent solution to be found to the ASTI teachers dispute

The Education Minister says he's anxious that today's disruption to secondary schools won't be repeated.
68 schools across Cork were closed and a quarter of a million secondary school students were forced to stay at home today as ASTI teachers took to the picket line.
They want equal pay for new staff who're earning less than colleagues hired before 2011 and have threatened to strike another 6 days before Christmas.
Richard Bruton has again reiterated his position saying there is a very substantial deal on the table, which addresses the issue of pay for newly qualified teachers.
