Calls for Attorney General to step down

It's after the Attorney General referred to the Judicial Appointments Bill as a "dog's dinner".

The Social Protection Minister says the opposition need to stop calling for heads to roll every time someone makes a mistake.

The Attorney General also commented on a case that's before the Supreme Court.

Seamus Wolfe thought the comments were off the record and is now facing calls to step down.

Social Protection Minister Regina Doherty says there's no such thing as off the record anymore but a resignation isn't necessary.
