It's after another car was found burnt out in a sports field in the Killala Gardens area of Knocknaheeny.
It's understood the car was driven around the vicinity of the area first before it was set alight.
Speaking to RedFM News local Cllr Thomas Gould says he's been contacted by a number of concerned residents about the issue and he says he fears someone will get hurt if the problem isn't tackled:
