Calls For Greater Garda Presence On Roads
There are calls for the government to provide gardai with the proper resources to make our roads safe. It comes after a new survey has revealed that 72% of people believe the Garda presence on the roads has dropped since last year. The AA poll of over 20,000 motorists has also found that 40% of those surveyed don't think the Government is treating road safety as a priority. While, 82% of those polled believe that the condition of Irish roadshas also worsened since last year.
