Calls for more Gardai to be deployed on the streets of Cork

It follows an increase in dangerous driving incidents on the north side of the city
A city councillor claims residents on the northside of the city are worried about an increase in so called "joy riding" in their area.
Sinn Fein's Thomas Gould's comments come in the wake of a car crash last night near Na Piarsaigh GAA club in Fairhill.. It was reported that the driver of the car had been doing hand brake turns before it crashed and turned on it's side
Three youths fled the vehicle before it caught fire.
Speaking to RedFM News Thomas Gould says this is just one of a number of incident in recent weeks and he is calling for immediate action to be taken
