Calls for more support for drug addicts
The call comes from Students for Responsible Drug Policy.
Events will take place in eight locations around Ireland today, including one here in Cork, calling for more support for drug addicts.
Students for Responsible Drug Policy is urging the Government to overhaul legislation.
The aim of the demonstrations called, Support Don't Punish, is to promote drug policy reform, change laws and policies which impede access to harm reduction interventions.
