On average, rents in county Cork were 11.5% higher in the fourth quarter of 2018 than 12 months previously with a report from Daft.ie also stating rents in Cork city are up 11.4%
An average three bed property in Midleton is fetching around €1500 a month depending on location and this has led to calls for a survey to be conducted to determine whether the average rent in the town meets the threshold required to be included in the Rent Pressure Zone
