Calls for time lines for Cork projects

It comes from the Construction Industry Federation.

Calls are being made for start dates for a number of developments in Cork.

The Construction Industry Federation is due to hold a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the future of construction sector in the region.

The CIF have expressed concerns about a number of projects including the Macroom Bypass and the Bandon and Midleton Flood Defence Schemes.

They say investment in the region's infrastructure is being neglected and is threatening jobs and growth.

Speaking to RedFM News, Connor O'Connell from the Cork branch of the CIF says it's time to move the projects forward.
