Calls For West Cork Peninsula To Be Included On Wild Atlantic Way

It's hoped a West Cork peninsula will be included on the Wild Atlantic Way.
It follows a campaign to get a number of villages on the Seven Heads peninsula, located between Clonakilty and Kinsale, included on the tourism trail.
The entire peninsula has been excluded from the route and the locations which have been bypassed have expressed concern that they're losing out.
Fáilte Ireland have agreed to review the route by early 2018 and a follow up meeting on the issue is scheduled with the tourism body in two weeks time.
Speaking to RedFM News West Cork based Minister of state Jim Daly says there's a number of factors to be considered before new locations are added to the route:
