Calls Have Been Made For An Improved Rail Service At Fota Railway Station To Cope Visitors At Fota Wildlife Park
The park hosted a record 460,000 visitors this year
The calls follow the announcement that the park will construct 13 new buildings to house animals as well as a new restaurant and conference centre.
The Green Party in Cork says a formal level crossing should be constructed at the Station as the current railway bridge is not suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.
