Sinn Fein's Donnachadh O'Laoghaire says he will be writing to the Minister Catherine Zappone to intervene in the sale after it emerged that a portion of the site is to be put on the market.
Calls have have been made for an investigation into the site after human remains were discovered at a mass grave at the Mother and Baby home in Tuam earlier this year.
Speaking to RedFM News Sinn Fein's Donnchadh O'Laoghaire says the sale could impact the possibility of uncovering any other potential burial sites.
