Calls made for end to traffic problems in Little Island

Calls are being made for efforts to be made urgently to end the traffic problems for Little Island's 16,000 workers.

A traffic study is to be conducted over the coming months in Little Island as part of a wider masterplan for the area.

Some motorists are experiencing 45 minute delays on a regular basis and say the situation needs to be alleviated to ensure the area continues to attract major employers.

Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM Fianna Fáil Councilor Padraig O’Sullivan says traffic needs to be regulated in the area with the installation of another access road:
