Calls made for the replacement of asbestos pipes in Rosscarbery

Fresh calls have been made for the replacement of asbestos pipes in the West Cork town of Rosscarbery.
The pipes which run between Rosscarbery and Clonakilty, are old and leaking and are disrupting the town's water supplies.
Irish Water says while it has approved funding for mains replacement works, it's unable to confirm a timeline for the works but it's looking like work won't begin until the end of the year.
Locals say it's unacceptable that they have to deal with interruptions to supply and say they need a regular, reliable water supply.
