Calls to honour bravery of Cobh woman

Maria Foley's saved a young child from the water last week.
Calls have been made for the bravery of a Cobh woman who rescued a 4 year old child from the river in the city on Friday to be honoured.
Maria Foley's swift response resulted in Caleb Watters being saved from the water very quickly with no injuries.
4-year-old Caleb had managed to get under the railing at Brian Boru Bridge at lunchtime on Friday, when he slipped and fell into the river.
Maria was passing Patricks Quay at the time and without any hesitation jumped into the river to save him.
Caleb's Mum Adriana has set up a GoFundMe page in an effort to reward Maria's selfless act. She hoping to raise enough money to send Maria, a Mum of 13, on a family holiday together.
Listeners can donate by clicking on gofundme.com/fundatruehero.
Speaking to RedFM News, Adriana says she dreads to think what would have happened if Maria hadn't been so brave.
