Calls to protect clothing industry in Bangladesh
Clothes manufacturing in Bangladesh must be protected, in order to help the country develop. The industry's worth about 15-billion dollars to the economy of Bangladesh, but in the wake of last week's tragic building collapse - which killed 382 workers, there are calls for foreign companies operating there to take better care of their staff. 80 percent of people working in these factories are women - many of the buildings they're based in are unsafe. Overseas Director for Concern, Paul O'Brien, says it's up companies to make sure the buildings their sub-contractors use aren't in danger of collapsing:
