Calls To Repeal Official Secrets Act

There's been a call to repeal the Official Secrets Act after the Irish Civil Service came 25th out of 31 countries in an international review of regulation and transparency.


The 'InCISE' report scores Ireland highly in Human Resource Management and Tax Administration, but low in terms of risk management, social security administration and openness.

The Social Democrats' Róisín Shortall says it's a wake up call for the Government.
