Candlight Vigil to take place outside City Hall in support of Vera Twomey

A candlight vigil will take place outside the City Hall this evening in support of Cork woman Vera Twomey who is now in a wheelchair after mounting a protest walk from Cork to Dublin.
The Aghabullog mother has been campaigning for medicinal cannabis for her seven-year-old daughter Ava who suffers from a rare form of epiledpsy known as Dravets syndrome.
The family's application for medicinal cannabis was rejected as a pediatric neurologist was legally unable to sign off on the treatment.
The mother of four is now in Kildare and is due to reach the Dáil tomorrow - she is unable to walk so will be wheeling herself to government buildings.
She says when she arrives she wants the Health Minister to give her a proper solution.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM Vera says the government keeps moving the goal posts and they have let her seven-year-old daughter down:
