Carrigaline Pharmacy Donating Over 500 Care Packs To People In Need This Christmas

CarePlus is preparing packs containing a range of toiletries and delivering them to Cork Simon Community, Good Shepard Cork and SVP in the coming days.
The packs will then be delivered to people who need them in accordance with public health guidelines.
The pharmacy has been making Christmas charity donation for years, but this is the first year the team have organised a proper operation.
Speaking to RedFM News, owner of CarePlus Carrigaline Nigel Moloney says it felt important to step up this year:
"We've been providing pharmacy services to vulnerable groups in the city for over 10 years now, and we've always wanted to try to get something back for them. So this year, really, more than any other year, our contribution is much more valued because there's many businesses who would like to donate to these vulnerable groups and the homeless this year, but can't. So we're particularly grateful to be able to do it this year and delighted that we can."
