P. Cashell's On Winthrop Street To Close It's Doors

"History is writing a new chapter for our family"
That's how Paul Cashell of P Cashell's on Winthrop Street has described the closure of his family business after 62 years.
The Irish Examiner reports that the antique and vintage shop is winding down operations and the family is exploring future uses of the building.
The shop was established in 1954 by Paul's father Paddy and he remembers a time when his Dad could park his car outside the front door of the shop.
Paul says online sales and auctions are now more prevalent and impacting on the business so he has no choice but to accept the change.
