Catriona Twomey Given Honorary Law Degree At UCC Ceremony

Catriona was given the award for her work with Cork Penny Dinners.

The charity helps people struggling with food poverty, homelessness and addiction and say there has been an upsurge in people using the service, with the organisation currently providing hot meals to up to 2,000 people a week. 

Also honored at the ceremony were crime writer Martina Cole, broadcaster Philip King and the former director of the Crawford Art Gallery Peter Murray
