Cattle seized from West Cork farm to go on auction again
The Kingston farm made headlines when a High Court ordered auction attracted up to 50 protesters.
A second auction to resell up to 500 cattle is due to get underway at a farm in Nohoval this morning.
The Kingston farm made headlines two weeks ago when an auction which was ordered following a High Court ruling on a charge in relation to a debt associated with the farm attracted up to 50 protesters.
The family were forced to sell 1,000 pedigree Holstein cattle from their Crayden Hill farm however two bidders who had bought around 500 animals failed to pay for them.
The New Land League were among campaigners that engaged in a protest on the day however a High Court Judge has ruled that the protest couldn't be described as peaceful and he granted the extension of injunctions against the disruption of the auction.
Speaking to RedFM News Peter Kingston of Crayden Hill farm says he fears he won't be the only farmer put in this situation:
