CBA says new projects require strategic planning

A number of developments are set to be unveiled by Cork City Council.
Cork Business Association says new developments in the city need to be matched with strategic planning.
The comments come as the City Council prepare to unveil plans for a multi-million euro project which includes the first phases of the Marina Park project, the development of Boole House on Grenville Place and the completion of the Nano Nagle Centre.
Grants schemes are also in the pipeline for 2016 which it's hoped will encourage investment in certain areas of the city such as Barrack Street, Blackpool and North Main Street.
Speaking to RedFM News, Lawrence Owens of the Cork Business Association says developments need to be managed correctly.
