Celebrity chef Rachel Allen "brews up" for Marymount Hospice

Cork's Lord Mayor is urging listeners to support Ireland's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Maymount Hospice later this month The Lord Mayor's Coffee morning, in aid of Marymount, will take place on Thursday 18th September between 10.00 - 12.30 p.m. in the Millennium Hall at City Hall.... All funds raised locally will stay locally and all proceeds from the City hall event will go to Marymount's Hospice in Curraheen, Meanwhile.. Listeners in workplaces and homes across the city and county can host their own coffee morning on the day and are being asked to collect €2 for each cup of Bewley’s fresh coffee consumed. Marymount Hospice is required to raise €2 million annually just to maintain current services which includes a fully integrated programme of palliative care services including community based care and a new specialist pain clinic.
