Charleville Woman Calls For Construction Of M20 To Begin After Lorry Crashes Into Her Garden, Narrowly Missing Family Home On N20
The Echo is reporting this morning, that the family were awoken, last Saturday, by the noise of an articulated lorry bursting through a hedge, trees, garden furniture and a trampoline before coming to a stop just 2 metres from her daughter's bedroom wall
Luckily, no one was injured in the incident, which occured at Lisballyhea between Carrleville and Buttevant.
The highly contentious motorway has drawn substantial opposition.
On Thursday, an open-air public meeting of the 'Whitechurch Resident's Association Against The M20 Motorway' took place.
The Group opposes the construction of a section of the proposed motorway from Cork to Mallow, believing an upgrade of the existing road would be preferable.
