CHASE Say Decision On Proposed Ringaskiddy Incinerator Due By August 10th

Indaver says they believe that the development will have no significant impact on human health
The Cork Harbour for A Safe Environment group, have long been campaigning against plans by waste management company Indaver to build an incinerator in the Lower Harbour.
An Bord Pleanala deferred their verdict on the application four times, as they requested further information from Indaver in relation to risks to helicopters by vertical plumes, and risks from increased dioxin levels.
In response to CHASE, Indaver has issued a statement saying that they're confident that the proposed incinerator is fully in line with regional, national and EU waste policy and further state that they believe that the development will have no significant impact on human health
Speaking to RedFM News Linda Fitzpatrick form CHASE says it is time for An Bord Pleanala to reject this application once and for all:
